      Important 2026 transition: Japan is preparing the Employment for Skill Development Program to replace TITP. The program is designed to develop workers toward SSW and must begin by June 2027 at the latest. Until implementation applies to a particular applicant and field, treat it as a future monitored route rather than an available guaranteed option.
