      Employment for Skill Development: transition to monitor

      Japan’s Employment for Skill Development system is scheduled to begin on 1 April 2027. Pre-implementation applications for some system procedures began in 2026. Until the system is applicable to a specific person and field, treat it as a monitored future route rather than a guaranteed available option.
